Do clients need a special app to use genuit QR?
+
No. Clients simply scan the QR code on the token with their phone camera or a compatible
banking app. The code launches a secure, matter-specific payment flow in their browser
that guides them to transfer funds into your trust account.
What happens if a token is lost or stolen?
+
Your staff can immediately revoke the token from the genuit QR portal. Once revoked, any
attempt to scan it will fail verification and no payment flow will start. A new token can
be issued to the client with fresh parameters.
Can staff accidentally change trust-account details?
+
Trust-account details are centrally managed and access-controlled. When programming a
token, staff can select from approved accounts only; they cannot free-type new BSB and
account numbers, reducing both error and opportunity for internal fraud.
How does the insurance piece work?
+
Insurance is an optional add-on that can provide coverage for eligible transactions
completed via genuit QR up to AUD $100,000. Coverage terms vary by jurisdiction and
risk profile; during onboarding we’ll work with you and our insurance partners to
define what’s in scope.
